Georgian Gold Garnet Pearl Ring 1822
Beautiful Georgian solid gold, garnet and pearl ring. Unique opportunity to own slice of English social history.
Features a central garnet surrounded by a beautiful border of natural pearls. The stone is foil-backed and the inscription can be found to the rear of the head, reading "Miss Anna C. Round. There is then wonderful ornate decoration to the shoulders and right down to the bottom of the band. In fabulous condition for its age, there is a natural flaw to the central stone but does not reach the surface.
Head measures approx 13mm; central stone approx 8mm wide.
