How to pay for online shop items
Instant payment online
If you wish to pay by credit card, instant payment online is via Paypal.
No Paypal account? No worries - you can pay by credit card using Paypal as the secure payment gateway. Once the checkout process has transferred you to the Paypal website, look for the link that asks 'not a member of paypal?' and this will enable you to pay by credit card securely without having to join Paypal.
Payment by bank deposit (Australian buyers only)
If you're based in Australia and wish to pay by bank deposit, please select 'Bank Transfer' as your preferred method of payment and the relevant bank details will be provided on the next screen. Be aware though that these bank details will not be included in your confirmation email/invoice.
Once funds have cleared, you will be notified that your order is being processed. Please allow up to two working days for funds to clear.
Payment by cheque or postal order (Australian buyers only)
Whilst we do accept cheque and postal orders from Australian buyers only, please note we will only hold the item in reserve for you for up to a week until we receive your payment. We reserve the right to cancel your order if payment doesn't clear.
Cheques and postal orders should be made out to David Frith (not David Frith Jewellery) and sent along with reference to the item you require to:

We have previously offered lay-by arrangements on antique jewellery but please email us first to see if it applies to your chosen item. Our terms are: 20% non refundable deposit. Balance to be paid by the agreed due date. If the balance is not paid by the due date, then payments minus the 20% deposit will be refunded and the item will be put back on sale.
For handmade jewellery commissions our terms our slightly different. Under Australian law, we can only accept two payments: A deposit and a final payment. We normally ask for at least 50% deposit but this could be more depending on the costs of materials. If you are unable to pay the remaining balance all in one go, please let us know before the job is started so that we know when to expect the final balance to be settled.
